Your Top Five Picks For Best Dry Shampoo

The spray of dry shampoo nominations was thick, but here are your five top contenders. Now it’s time to find a winner.

This is the only valid answer. I mean, there might be a better dry shampoo out there, but not one that costs $8. I can’t afford anything more expensive than that because I use this shit constantly. - JaneyRotten

The spray is tinted in several different shades so you don’t have to worry about your hair getting that tint of white! - TwoPermitsDoNotEqualALicense

I have used every dry shampoo known to man. Then I tried the Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo and will never try another. It does what dry shampoo is supposed to do — it absorbs the excess oil and freshens up my hair without leaving white spots or making my hair stiff and sticky. I cannot rave enough about the product, and you can get a large size from Amazon for about $9 less than from the manufacturer. - Cady Cumberbatch, Queen of the Greys

TRESemme Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo

1. Smells amazing

2. I have CRAZY thick hair, this silkens it and helps work out any “kinks” from hair ties, headbands, etc.

3. The new formula doesn’t show up as powdery, either on my blonde or on my darker roots.

4. Um it really volumizes.

- thetallblonde

Bumble and Bumble Pret A Powder

This is by far the best dry shampoo. Other sprays weigh the hair down and makes it feel gross. This actually gives your hair amazing body so when you style dirty hair it looks amazing. - cakeistheonlything

I work at sephora and have tried a lot of dry shampoos and this seems to give me the best volume and I can go about 3-4 days without washing. - smellyCat

I only use dry shampoo to keep my red hair color vibrant. It cleans my hair very well, it doesn’t build up like other brands, and it doesn’t have too strong of a perfume. I color my hair about once a month, and with this I can actually wear my hair down all month long. I don’t like anything heavily fragranced, and I want something on the not so spendy side, since it is the only shampoo I use. - Jennifer Rabbit
