Agreed. Every other nomination is aiming for second place at best. Gulden’s is the benchmark. It’s the classic that reminds you of what the perfection of the form is supposed to be.

For a more texturally engrossing option, Inglehoffer Stone Ground Mustard came in a close second, and is my personal favorite. It’s preservative free, delicious, and actually looks and tastes like something you could conceivably make from scratch, rather than a mass-produced chemical sauce.
